Full Packing Service in Omaha | Tetris Moving

A full pack where we bring the boxes, the paper, and the people, then cushion and label the kitchen, the closets, and the fragile pieces by room so the move is all muscle

Folks usually fixate on the carry, but the part that makes or breaks a move is the packing. Box a home well and it loads fast, rides quiet, and unpacks room by room; throw it into grocery cartons and trash bags the night before and it shows up dinged, jumbled, and behind. We wrap the furniture no matter what, but with a full pack we arrive hauling the boxes, the wrapping, the tape, and the hands, then case the kitchen, the closets, the wall art, and the stemware, so the move itself is all muscle. Megan and her crew hold one standard whether the home is a Dundee Tudor, a Gretna two-story, or an Old Market loft, scaled to the place and the timeline.

How a full pack actually goes

Done right, it bears no resemblance to draping a blanket over the couch. The crew shows up loaded with cartons in every size, dish barrels split into cells, wardrobe boxes that hold clothes on the hanger, and clean packing paper plus bubble for the fragile things. Plates ride on edge, glasses go one at a time, lamps and framed art each claim a box, and televisions sit in proper containers rather than loose under an arm. Every carton gets its room written on it so it lands where it belongs, and a numbered list keeps the count honest. Boxing it tight, square, and dense is the puzzle the crew is known for, so the load needs fewer trips and the carry moves quicker. The charge is one fixed sum scaled to the home and built into the move quote, and you can hand over the whole house or only the rooms you would rather not face, usually the kitchen and the china cabinet.

How Omaha homes are built is exactly why packing earns its keep. A Dundee Tudor with a pinched entry and a long pull to the curb is no place for a box that splits on the way out, and an Old Market loft on one booked freight window rewards a load already sealed and ready the second we arrive. Boxed dense and square, the crew carries faster, which trims the hourly clock and protects that elevator slot. Whether you give us a four-bedroom to pack ahead of a haul across the Plains or a lone studio kitchen, every box is built to make the trip.

What the crew rolls up with on packing day

  • We furnish the whole kit ourselves: cartons in every size, dish barrels, wardrobe boxes, and fresh newsprint
  • Bubble and padding around artwork, framed pieces, lamps, and electronics before a single one goes in a box
  • We mark each box with the room it belongs to and log it on a numbered inventory
  • Every room or only the ones you pick, and usually that means the kitchen and the china cabinet

Packing ahead of an out-of-state haul? Pair it with our long-distance moving so one crew boxes, loads, and drives it all. Only need it boxed and hauled across town? Our local moving crew carries on from there. Get a free quote and we will respond within one business hour.

“It was a great service with fairly clear pricing. The only reason I gave a 4 was because we pay before they actually finish the delivery. So I felt the guys did a less after payment with all boxes left in the garage instead of moving them up to the rooms upstairs. They did break one item so I am hoping the insurance works…”

“The movers came to my house and packed up. Brett and the two guys were great to work with. When my stuff was ready to be delivered the driver was very friendly and considerate. The two men from the local company that unloaded went above and beyond to help me get my refrigerator in the house. I am very grateful for their service and efforts. I would recommend them for a move.”

Service FAQ

Do you supply the boxes, or do I buy them?

We supply them. Boxes in every size, cell-divided dish barrels, wardrobe cartons, clean packing paper, bubble, and tape all come with the crew, scaled to your home. Nothing for you to chase down or assemble in advance; we arrive set to case the kitchen, the closets, and the fragile pieces starting with the first box.

Can I pack some rooms and leave the rest to you?

Yes, and many people split it that way. Plenty pack their own books and clothes and hand us the rooms they would rather skip, usually the kitchen and the china cabinet. We cushion, box, and label whatever rooms you assign, and the price drops to cover only that share rather than the whole house.

How does the packing get priced?

As one fixed sum scaled to your home and the rooms in play, built into the move quote. The floor is a single studio kitchen, the ceiling a full four-bedroom. We look the place over and name the packing figure ahead, supplies included, so no per-box bill shows up afterward to catch you off guard.

Will my breakables actually make it?

Boxed right, they will. Plates ride on edge, glasses are wrapped one by one, lamps and framed art take their own boxes, and electronics sit in proper containers with bubble. A tight, square box does not shift in transit, and shifting is what breaks fragile things. Each carton is labeled and listed, so nothing slips away en route either.

Can you pack for a long haul or a storage move?

Both. We box to what the distance asks for, tight, square, and marked, so the load rides quiet over the miles, and those same cartons go right into our climate-controlled storage should a wait open before delivery. Let us know where it is going and we price the pack on its own, or the pack and the move together.
